RFC Tanay BCO Branch

A BCO is a short term for Business Center Office. It is a smaller branch of a bank in a rural area. It benefits those without access to banks and those in remote areas without any other local financial institutions. As many as 100 million Filipinos currently live without any kind of banking services—and this number could increase by more than half by 2022 if nothing changes. To provide these customers with bank accounts and loans via phone calls or text messages (or even WhatsApp!), the government has established hundreds upon hundreds of BCOs throughout the country over recent years–but only about one percent currently have ATMs installed at their locations.
RFC is committed to bringing its services nearer to everyone by putting more branches around the Philippines. Hearing the need, RFC opened its Tanay BCO led by EVP/COO Donald Francis Chiong last September 7, 2022. RFC Tanay BCO Branch is at RJMN Bldg. 2FT Catapusan Street. The branch came into existence to serve the needs of the people of Tanay.

During the grand opening of the RFC Tanay branch, EVP/COO Donald Francis Chiong and RFC Tanay Employees attended this event. The event was started to seek divine intervention, bless the place, and ensure its success over the years. And it was concluded with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. In addition, a motorcade along the area proudly announced the branch’s readiness to serve the local community. With much gratitude and professionalism, RFC Tanay is delighted to be a part of the local community.

The success of this branch’s opening has made it possible for a new RFC BCO Branch to serve rural residents needs. It was one of the most anticipated RFC news for the year 2022. The entire town was excited about the opening of this new branch. And it was well-received by all individuals in the community. It’s because many people are working in different places but still need to be able to access their bank accounts, especially those who have limited access to internet facilities.
