Businesses including barbershops, dine-in restaurants, gyms, review center allowed to operate recently under general community quarantine (GCQ) have been ordered to temporarily shut down again after Metro Manila and provinces of Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal were placed under modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ).
Meanwhile, businesses providing essential services or products at this time are allowed to operate at 100 percent capacity. The following are the list of businesses allowed to operating under MECQ:

Businesses prohibited to operate under MECQ:
Department of Trade and Industry Secretary Ramon Lopez encouraged businesses that are prohibited to operate under MECQ to take “this break to sufficiently prepare for better processes and facilities for compliance to the health standards.”
“We wish that this move back to MECQ will break the increasing trend of positive COVID-19 cases and will eventually allow us to bring back the much-needed livelihood and jobs to many of our countrymen,” Sec Lopez added in a statement last Monday.
