July 1, 2022: RFC Successfully Completed its One Barangay Asenso Program

The One Barangay Asenso Program is a program that aims to provide a sustainable livelihood for the residents of a barangay and to promote enterprise development in the barangay. Moreover, it’s a program that encourages barangays to set up their programs and activities. The idea is to help local government units (LGUs) develop more efficient and responsive services by providing them with support from the national government. And it empowers barangays and their constituents with the necessary skills, resources, and tools.
Furthermore, the program involves three phases. The first phase focuses on the increased ability of barangay authorities through training sessions and seminars on sustainable livelihood-related themes or topics. The second phase focuses on strengthening the capacities of Barangay Councils for Sustainable Development (BCSD) through capacity-building workshops and other related activities. Lastly, the third phase focuses on promoting sustainable livelihoods in communities by providing them with training courses and other resources.

RFC One Barangay Asenso Program

As RFC continued its mission for the barangays, last July 1, 2022, at Caimpugan San Francisco Agusan Del Sur, RFC completed the One Barangay Asenso Program – Pondo for everyone. The said program was a seminar given to Business Owners, Teachers, Barangay Officials, and employees. Mr. Amador Bismanos Jr., RFC’s Field Sales Supervisor, led the program aiming to increase the participants’ business capital. In addition, it’s to help boost local governance by providing financial assistance for barangays’ projects, activities, and programs through resolutions and ordinances.

This RFC event has provided everyone to empower each other in business ventures. RFC’s tagline says, “RFC, Partner Mo Sa Negosyo” showing that RFC can help your business to prosper. It has provided an opportunity to share one’s skills and knowledge for a better future with RFC. It aimed to raise more financing for local companies. Such financial assistance played a significant role in realizing the mission of RFC for the barangays.

Indeed, it was a successful event for both the barangay and RFC. Fortunately, RFC wrapped its One Barangay Asenso Program with a smile. RFC delivered its mission for the barangay’s financial care through the help of barangay officials, partners, and supporters. The program showed a milestone for RFC towards the continuous credibility of being a trusted financing partner over the years. And it’s been hoped that with this program in barangays, RFC can improve the quality of financial services for all Filipinos.
